BRIDESMAIDS
Nicolette Clarke || Maid of Honor
Lives in: Portland, OR
Met the bride: 27 years ago, the day Dimitra was born. :) Same womb, 3 years apart.
Fun Facts: Sissy is currently one of the head honcho's of Anthropologie's home decor department. She is Sequoia High School's reigning Badminton girls singles champ of 2004 (go Cherokees!) has an incredible knack for gift giving, and is a movie trivia wizard. She is also a phenomenal baker- don't even think about using the words "dry" and "scone" in the same sentence around her. Oh and she's a kickass violinist. Ask her about it! ;)
Mackenzie Clarke || Bridesmaid
Lives in: Redwood City, CA
Met the bride: 17 years ago, the day Mackenzie was born. She probably doesn't remember it, but it was epic.
Fun Facts: Mac is a one woman softball team, an esteemed summer camp counselor, entering her senior year as an honors student with a 4.3 GPA, an expert cat trainer, a future Tony award-winning musical theater actor with an angelic voice, and an accomplished meme creator. What can I say? She's my little sister and impossible not to brag about.
Jessa Bozzuto || Bridesmaid
Lives in: Hayward, CA
Met the bride: 14 years ago, freshman year of high school!
Fun Facts: Jessa and I laughed our way through 9th grade P.E in matching Spongebob boxer shorts. We exercised occasionally, but mostly we just bonded and became great friends. With enough love and cuddles she managed to morph her pit bull, Baloo into a cat...who just happens to weigh more than her. She's a Bath & Body Works enthusiast (yes, her house always smells amazing), and we recently discovered she is also an expert baby maker. Her little one, Kaley Jane is the most perfect child!
Lina Elhassan || Bridesmaid
Lives in: San Francisco, CA
Met the Bride: 14 years ago! Sequoia High School's freshman orientation.
Fun Facts: Lina basically knows every single resident of SF's Marina neighborhood personally. She is blessed with an amazing sense of humor and the ability to cheer anyone up in 20 seconds flat. She has a serious case of wanderlust that has led her all over the world. She is definitely the person you'd want to be locked up abroad with. In fact knowing her, it would probably be a pretty great time.
Dayna Karp || Bridesmaid
Lives in: Belmont, CA
Met the Bride: 22 years ago, in kindergarten!! We spent every school year together aside from a brief intermission in grades 2-5.
Fun Facts: Dayna is equally competent with a rifle and a wax pot. She is the best doggy mama to sweet Jackson, and has one of the biggest hearts you will ever encounter. She is pretty much royalty in Calaveras County- if you find yourself in Arnold or Murphys be sure to drop her name ;) and she's currently running Intero Real Estate Agency with one hand and a Snapchat filter.
Meredith Omori || Bridesmaid
Lives in: San Francisco, CA
Met the Bride: 6 years ago, as neighbors! We quickly instated an open door (with the promise of beer or wine) policy upon meeting.
Fun Facts: Mer is mommy to Miso, her adorable new corgi pup. Her Florida roots quickly emerge when she's near or on a body of water, and she has an infinite capacity for kindness and compassion. She puts Martha Stewart to shame with her ability to organize and run an event while spending 48 hours on her feet...in a pair of Louboutin's no less! ;)
GROOMSMEN
Spencer Weiss || Best Man
Lives in...Los Angeles, CA
Met the groom...28 years ago, my "little" brother. He's been tormenting me ever since. I wouldn't have it any other way!
Fun Facts...No matter how old he gets I will always call Spencer my little brother. Spencer recently earned his Masters of Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and works with children that have learning disabilities to help them strengthen deficient areas of their brain - very cool stuff! You can always count on Spencer for a good laugh as he's got a great sense of humor and he's going to mess with you whether you like it or not... you've been warned! He's an avid fan of sports, Star Wars, mooching food out of other people's refrigerators, and his two little kittens Dale and Brennan, who's names are a nod to one of our favorite movies "Step Brother's."
“Why are you so sweaty?” — Dale “I was watching cops.” — Brennan
Matthew Mann || Groomsman
Lives in...Los Angeles, CA
Met the groom...13 years ago. Technically we "knew of each other" in High School, but didn't officially hit it off until an epic trip to Big Bear for New Years in 2004.
Fun Facts...On that same trip to Big Bear I helped introduce Matt to his wife Pamela over a unique game of Monopoly that foreshadowed what was to come for these love birds - ask them about it. Unfortunately Matt is a USC grad, so as a Bruin I have been forced to overlook my hatred for USC (well USC athletics anyways) because both he and his amazing family have become so close to me and mine. Matt and I share a love for sports, old man games like cribbage and backgammon, late 90's to early 2000's hip-hop, cautious but appropriate tipping amounts at restaurants, and all forms of competition where Matt will use his wit and unwavering argumentative prowess (did I mention he's a lawyer?) to overcome his opponent. In that same vein, he also happens to be the luckiest person on the face of the earth, so much so that we've coined the term "Matt luck" - NEVER count him out.
Jacob Bluett-Mills || Bridesman
Lives in...Santa Cruz, CA
Met the bride...17 years ago in 6th grade!
Fun Facts...Jake and Dimitra met in middle school and have been great friends ever since. Before the days of Uber, they must have logged at least 2,000 miles walking together all over Redwood City to and from friends houses, school, and work. From high school dances and Giant's games as kids to double dates and happy hours in the city as adults, this friendship has truly stood the test of time! Jake is technically a "bridesman", but Dimitra is lending him to Jordan in the name of symmetry. ;)
Jordan won't hold bay area sports teams against Jake, Jordan even admits to being a Bumgarner fan, but we all know who the best baseball team in history is... DODGERS baby! (written by Jordan of course)
Michael Polier || Groomsman
Lives in...Venice, CA
Met the groom...30 years ago on the first day of kindergarten in Mrs. Rosenblatt's class.
Fun Facts... Just as Spencer will always be my "little" brother, Michael will always be my "best friend." I've made amazing friends throughout my life, but that title is reserved for this guy. My brother from another mother. Michael was both my partner in crime on the playground when we played cops and robbers (we were always the robbers) and the one who taught me the value of competition as we would battle in just about every sport possible. We propelled one another to hall of fame levels of greatness at the ripe old age of 10 years old. As adults, when we were both still bachelors, we were roommates on multiple occasions and enjoyed the sh*t out of it every time. Eventually we had to settle down and I was extremely proud to be the best man at his wedding. We share a passion for sports, music, high end audio gear (a vice for both of us) and the rigors of running a business. Michael has an unparalleled entrepreneurial spirit and a way with people that is contagious. Watch out, chances are by the end of the wedding you two might be partners in his next venture!
Scott Reifman || Groomsman
Lives in...Los Angeles, CA
Met the groom...34 years ago when I was born.
Fun Facts...Scott's my cousin, but he's really like my big brother. He was my first real introduction to music through bands like Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam and Guns 'n Roses (OK mayyybe Naughty by Nature and Boyz II Men before that, but we don't publicly admit that). He always let me hang out with his cool older friends and wouldn't hesitate to pick me up if I was ever stranded at parties in high-school. He is a talented musician (guitar and vocals) and works booking and promoting bands for his agency and for some of the top venues in Los Angeles. Scott was my role model in sports (shout-out to Palisades All-Stars) and taught me how to hit a pick 6 at the horse races where he is wise beyond his years. Challenge him to any Simpsons, Seinfeld or Curb Your Enthusiasm trivia and be ready to be impressed - no seriously, it's crazy. I also had the honor of being the best man at his wedding!
James Walls || Groomsman
Lives in...What month is it? This guy has lived everywhere, but currently resides in Big Bear, CA.
Met the groom...16 years ago, my freshman year roommate in college.
Fun Facts...I Spent a whopping single semester of my freshman year at the University of Colorado Boulder, and I like to joke that James was the only good thing to come out of it! We were two to a dorm room and I had three different roommates in that single semester (long story, ask me sometime). James was the third roommate, meaning we only lived together for a few months before we both hightailed out of Colorado, but we immediately hit it off and we've been like brothers ever since. James is multitalented, but is most notably an incredibly talented chef who has opened successful restaurants in Mexico and Hawaii... he built the one in Mexico with his own two hands, seriously, from the ground up. He's from New York and went to boarding school for high school where he tore up the ice hockey scene. We share an affinity for traveling, the outdoors, dogs, great food and and tackling life the only way we know how.
